2. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you
agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images?
Did you see other elements and principles in the images?
All examples of these students element project were great. Some took me a minute to understand but then I was able to make the connection once I read the caption of each picture. As I made comments on each student's blog I let each of them know what I really liked. I enjoyed the first students picture of movement as I was easily able to make the connection! There was also many pictures I could easily of seen to be used for many other elements as everything has many elements of art, not just one.
3. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer
Blogs the same as your own? If yes, what were they? Where the reasons
the image was selected the same or different as your own?
It's interesting how looking at both art gallery visits and seeing completely different pictures from the ones that I have chosen. Each of our visits were unique and that is what makes art, art! The reasoning behind the pictures chosen were also different and I feel like that is because everyone has a different opinion when they look at things. Even if we were given the same pictures we would all have different view points behind it.
4. Where there any images that your Peers selected that pique your
interest now? If yes, what are they and what is your connection with
them? What would you want to know about them?
The main image that I will have a thought about for awhile was in the second student's art gallery visit. It is a picture of a large table with chairs. "We are just a small peck on the radar" was a quote the student used to reflect on the image. I then had the same exact thought behind it, we really are just one thing in the world. The world is absolutely huge compared to just a person.
5. What do you think about the process of reading your peers reflection? Do you find this to be a valuable in your learning?
This is the first time I have really looked at another student's work to review it. It was cool to look at the pictures the other students chose and to look at how they completed the assignment in contrast to how I chose to do it, very valuable learning experience.
6. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful?
I have not yet received any comments! :( However, I feel as if any kind of feedback given by my peers will absolutely be helpful!
