2. These three masks I have chosen come from different backgrounds. The first mask is a replica of a old grandpa. I chose this because my friends and I all bought them and went out one day as old men, pretty funny day. The second mask and third masks are much more popular. The second one being described as "happy and sad" masks and the third one being from one of my favorite movies, both of which contain mass amounts of symbolism. The two masks use a lot of black and white shades to add value and contrast. Then finally during my research I came across an old mask I used to love from old movies. Again following the black and white theme. The final mask sticks out to me with the curvature of the eyes and mouth.

4. With the creation of my mask I tried to combine all the ideas and traits of the masks I researched. I stuck with the black and white to emphasize the differences and used line with pattern for the eyes. I shaped the eyes in a way similar to the final mask.
5. I enjoyed creating my mask more than I thought I would have. It it clear I'm not the best artist but so far doing projects like this I instantly think of everything I have learned throughout this course to better understand everything and I feel like creating things such as this mask and using techniques I have learned, that I really get some things out of this course!
